Air pollution tracking by commuting by bicycle in Glasgow

Georgia Bow is former Strathclyde MSc student who did her project using an AE51 to measure contrasting air pollution exposure on different cycle commutes to and from Strathclyde.  Georgia created a very good video of her MSc work with the AE51.

Are cyclists on segregated cycle routes less susceptible to inhalation of black carbon when compared to on-traffic cycle routes in Glasgow? A video representation of a comparative statistical study of levels of exposure to black carbon between the West-End and the City Centre of Glasgow. This is part of a dissertation submitted by Giorgia Bigaro to the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Strathclyde, in part completion of the requirements for the MSc in Sustainability and Environmental Studies.
